Alexey Kukhtin was born and raised in USSR. In 1995 he worked in Israel on contract-based projects, thereafter it lead him to Canada where he now works and resides. In 1974 Alexey attended the School of Art in Siberia for four years. After ten years of practice, he joined a private sculpting studio in Ukraine to further develop his skills.

 Three years later, Alexey got accepted to the Kharkov Art Industrial Institute studying sculpture.

Later on in 1992, he graduated and received his BFA with honors.

 Since 1993, Alexey has worked as a principal designer and art director on numerous internationally recognized projects. Some include the amusement park “King’s City” in Israel, and the casino “Atlantis” in Dubai. Many of his works make an appearance in architectural, commercial and private industries around the world. The latest notable collaboration involved, the setup of Tim Burton’s TIFF Lightbox art exhibition in Toronto, Canada. Since 2018 has worked with IATSE873 (International Entertainment Industry , Toronto, Canada).
